Medication errors are the #1 leading cause of preventable deaths in long-term care settings and arguably the most important task that you will perform as a Direct Support Professional.

Nurses and providers place a lot of trust in you to do the right thing, all of the time, every time.

If you make an error in the administration or medication, or you suspect an error has occurred, CALL THE NURSE.  Every minute counts, so don’t hesitate.
